Big Picture People! A New, Free Tool to Recognize and Inform Your Volunteers

Here's a quick and easy way to follow-up with your landowner and community volunteers, recognize their hard work and keep them connected to conservation. "Big Picture People" recognizes the passion and commitment of conservatoin volunteers across Carolinian Canada. If your project supports the goals of the Carolinian Canada Big Picture, each of your volunteers is eligible to receive a personalized thank-you package with Big Picture Certificate, Signature Sites Guide and Carolinian Canada News Network (CCNN) subscription. We will work with you to profile their stories in CCNN so your volunteers can see how they fit into the Big Picture of conservation. This program can be used to thank your volunteers for the first time, or enhance an existing recognition program. This is free for CCC member groups - thanks to generous Coalition sponsors including the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. For more information, email admin@carolinian.org. This program is one way that the Coalition is working with local partners to build capacity in conservation.
