Middlesex County Caring for Nature Factsheet Launch
May 29th, 2008
The sixth in the Caring for Nature series, the Middlesex Factsheet will be launched from a landowner's property on Nairn Creek in the Ausable Bayfield watershed. The landowners were featured in the factsheet as part of shoreline restoration project which exceeded the expectations of the partner organization, the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority. The factsheet will be available online soon, as well as a detailed media release regarding the launch. Check back!
Annual General Meeting 2008 - May 22nd
Join the Carolinian Canada Coalition and Bird Studies Canada for an exciting day of bird tours, keynote speakers and discussions on the future of the Coalition. This is a free event that will take place in Port Rowan. Meeting details are available here. Register by May 12th.

Carolinian Woodland Recovery Strategy Meeting
February 21st, 2008 in London, 9am-4pm
Join the Carolinian Woodland Network for this interesting and informative event. Hear about new pilot projects in Woodland Recovery, learn about the Carolinian Woodland Recovery Strategy, connect and share ideas with other recovery teams and much more. A training session on the Rural Landowner Stewardship Guide will be held in the afternoon.

Forum 2007: A Resounding Success!
The “Exploring the Nature of Climate Change” 2007 Forum was held on October 26th in London, Ontario. Carolinian Canada Coalition supporters listened, learned and discussed an organized response from the nature conservation community - a Carolinian Canada Big Picture strategy for the future. The one-day event brought together many voices and perspectives.
